Hunter Street offers conflict resolution help

Ken Sande, a nationally known author and founder of Peacemakers Ministries, will conduct a seminar on resolving conflict, called Principles of Peacemaking, at Hunter Street Baptist Church, Birmingham.

The conference will begin March 14, 6:30-9 p.m., and March 15, 8 a.m.-noon, and is open to the public.

In the conference, Sande will lead participants through a biblically-based process for resolving conflicts and making peace.

These peacemaking principles are applicable to every relationship – husband and wife, employers and employees, customers, students, teammates and friends.

“Many times we tend to view conflict as a win or lose situation – let’s just settle who’s right or wrong,” says Buddy Gray, pastor of Hunter Street Baptist Church.

“If you’ve ever been frustrated, angered or disappointed by others, there are biblical steps that can lead you to a solution,” he said. “If you know the peacemaking process, you will put it into practice in your life. Peacemaking can turn the curse of conflict into a blessing for both sides,” he said.

Conference participants will learn practical steps to apply with friends, family and relatives, teammates, employees or employers or any relationship where conflict may arise.

The weekend promises to give participants the tools to change the way they deal with conflict and make a positive difference in these relationships.
