Ider Missionary Baptist Church celebrated its 100th anniversary Sept. 17. Former pastor Chris Guinn, now serving as Sand Mountain Baptist Association’s director of missions, was the guest preacher. Special music was provided by the choir and soloists. Wendell Dutton, a commissioner of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission, presented a plaque to Dwayne Chapman, deacon chair, and Luke McKay, pastor.
