IMB missionary to deaf dies of heart attack

MERIDIAN, Mississippi — International Mission Board missionary Ray Hodgins died of a heart attack Jan. 18 while on stateside assignment in Mississippi. He was 52.

Hodgins trained and empowered deaf believers in three countries: Uruguay, Paraguay and Mexico. He was appointed as a missionary with his wife, Cindy, in 2001.

Hodgins is survived by his wife and four children.
