Islamic Imperialism: A History

Islamic Imperialism: A History

Efraim Karsh. New Haven, Conn.: Yale University Press, 2007. 230 pp. (Paperback).
This quite informative and challenging book is “an impeccable history of how the Muslim mainstream has behaved towards its neighbours.” A professor at King’s College at the University of London, Efraim Karsh writes with adequate knowledge and deep concern.
This reviewer agrees with this author when he calls upon Islamic nations to make their religion a matter of private faith rather than a tool of political ambition.
