Charlie Horton has retired from full-time ministry, most recently serving as pastor of Jacksons Gap Baptist Church for the past 13 years.
Horton was saved when he was 15 and called to ministry two years later. He attended Missionary Baptist Seminary, Little Rock, Arkansas, and served as pastor of churches in Arkansas and Indiana before serving in Alabama.
He and his wife, Sandra, have five children, 12 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
