Johnny Warren: Opp’s Westview missions pastor dies

Members of Westview Baptist Church, Opp, are still trying to recover from the sudden loss after missions and discipleship pastor Johnny Warren, 30, was killed in a skiing accident Jan. 1 while on vacation in West Virginia.

“Johnny had a heart for God,” Westview Pastor Gary Miller said. “He had a heart for this community and our church here.”

Miller said Warren had been part of Westview’s ministerial team for four years.
