Judson Choir Invited to Sing at National Cathedral

The Judson College Singers have been invited to perform the choral prelude for the evensong service on May 20 at the National Cathedral in Washington, D.C.

The choral prelude consists of a 25-minute program of sacred a cappella music sung just prior to the 4 p.m. service. The prelude itself is regarded as an integral part of the liturgical offering, and the prelude choir also remains for the service.

The cathedral visit will be a cornerstone event for the 2012 choir tour, which begins May 18.
