Judson Equestrian Team Competes at Berry

The Judson College equestrian team competed in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association horse shows hosted by Berry College in Mount Berry, Ga., Oct. 24–25.

There were one Western show and one hunt seat show Oct. 24 and another hunt seat show Oct. 25.

In the Western show, Joy Hays, of Wetumpka, placed fourth in reining and third in open. Jordyn Blackwell, of Grand Bay, placed third in advanced. Andrea Luckie, of Alexander City, placed third in novice.

Samantha Marcella, of Cullman, placed fourth in intermediate, and Sarah Dunn, of Frisco City, placed second in beginner.

In the first hunt seat show, Meredith Bell, of Vestavia Hills, placed sixth in class 3–1 and Corey Finlay, of Oxford, placed fifth in class 2–A.

The next day, Bell placed third in class 3–1 and Finlay placed seventh in class 2–A.
