The Judson College equestrian team sponsored an Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA) competition for the first time in its new riding arena on campus Nov. 10. The new arena, which is 35,000 square feet and includes a riding arena of 120 by 200 feet, was the site of the only IHSA show hosted in Alabama. The 12-member Judson team fared well in the first show, placing first and winning the award for high point team. Guest equine teams traveled from Berry College, Clemson University, Lander University and North Georgia College. Judson equine director is Jennifer Hoggle.
