Judson Professor Publishes Study

Judson College professor Richard B. Neely recently published an article about a study of military pistols on the Web site myarmoury.com. The article is titled “Chamelot-Delvigne vs. Reichs Ordonnanzrevolver: A Comparative Analysis of the Heavy Revolvers Adopted by the French and German Armies in the Late 19th Century.” 

Myarmoury.com is an online magazine dedicated to military history and weaponry. The site mainly covers ancient and medieval weapons. Neely’s article is the first one dealing with 19th century weaponry to be used on the site. Neely, a Scottsboro native, is professor of history and education and has taught at Judson for the past five years.
