Judson Students Enjoy Old-Fashioned Hymn Singing

The seventh annual hymn sing took place at Judson College’s chapel service Oct. 12.

George T. Washburn, Judson’s director of library services and music minister at Hopewell Baptist Church, Marion, and wife Leah, office manager in Judson’s admissions department who also serves as pianist at Hopewell Baptist, provide the musical program each year.

Among the hymns students requested this year were “The Old Rugged Cross,” “It Is Well With My Soul,” “Victory in Jesus,” “When We All Get to Heaven” and several Christmas carols.
