Junior Jumpstart

Junior Jumpstart

Judson College’s professional development class sponsored Junior Jumpstart for local high school juniors March 24.

Judson students took material they had learned in their classes and redesigned it for the visiting students.

Nineteen high school students attended the seminar and heard tips on practicing good study habits, applying for scholarships and making good impressions during job interviews.

“Colleges want new students to apply in the fall for the next year, and scholarship applications must be filed early, too,” said Dean of Student Development Sandra Fowler.

“So it’s important for high school students to make plans earlier than they might think.”
