King Receives Staff Excellence Award

Annie Mae King received the Alumnae Association Past President’s Award for Staff Excellence April 8 during Judson College’s annual alumnae weekend. She is the fourth recipient of the award begun in 2003 to recognize college staff for their contribution.

King, who lives in Marion, will complete 38 years of work at Judson in August. She is a member of the facilities staff, as well as a college hostess. King received a plaque and a cash award. “I appreciate people for nominating and selecting me,” she said. “It makes me feel good that they put their trust in me and appreciate the work I’ve done.”
