Recorded live over two nights at Christ for the Nations Institute in Dallas, “Glory,” the Integrity Music debut by German-born worship leader Klaus, is a fantastic 12-song collection of infectious, turbo-charged worship anthems. It’s a powerful record. With the drum and guitar solos, combined with the exhilarating echo of a live recording, songs like “I Give You Glory” sound as if they could have been recorded 20 years ago.

Perhaps that can also be explained by the admitted, and healthy, influence of contemporary Christian music legend Keith Green. Whatever it is, however it is, it’s good. And along with Klaus’ solid, warm, unpretentious voice, it keeps you waiting for the next track. That doesn’t always happen with live worship albums.
