Lakeside Church, Birmingham, host Alabama Supreme Court Justice Patti Smith

Lakeside Church, Birmingham's, senior adults will host retired Alabama Supreme Court Justice Patti Smith during a luncheon Nov. 12, 11:30 a.m. Smith will speak on the topic “Life After the Supreme Court.” For reservations call Martha Evans at 205-313-2922. There will be music, prizes and fun for all. The church also will hold a “Happy Hearts” Mystery Trip for senior adults Nov. 8. Call Evans at 205-313-2922 for reservations. The bus will leave the church at 9:30 a.m. and return approximately 5 p.m.
