Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions (SBOM) Executive Director Rick Lance underwent colon surgery Sept. 17 to repair a colon tear caused by diverticulitis.
SBOM officials report that Lance is getting excellent care and making good progress. Lance expressed appreciation for the gestures of love and prayer support.
According to family sources, his surgeon reports that Lance’s medical condition is excellent.
He was anticipating release from the hospital by Sept. 24 and will continue recovery at home.
