Latest CP giving below anticipated amount

NASHVILLE — The opening month of the Southern Baptist Convention’s (SBC) 2016–2017 fiscal year was 4.54 percent below the opening month for 2015–2016 and 2.73 percent below the projected budget for the first month, according to a news release from Executive Committee President and CEO Frank S. Page.

As of Oct. 31, gifts received distribution through the Cooperative Program Allocation Budget totaled $15,320,010, or $728,429.92 below the $16,048,439.92 received in October 2015.

The October total of $15,320,010 is $429,990 below the $15,750,000 monthly allocation budget projection to support Southern Baptist ministries globally and across North America.

Meanwhile, designated giving of $3,518,636.92 during October was 3.59 percent, or $121,877.29, above gifts of $3,396,759.63 received in October 2015. (BP)
