1. Though no longer affiliated with a Southern Baptist Convention entity, World Changers is still “Baptist through and through,” said David Flatt, executive director of World Changers.
2. Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary is mourning the loss of Keith Harper, retired senior professor of Baptist studies. Following a battle with lung cancer this past year, Harper passed away on April 23.
3. It was another small town miracle — nothing unusual for evangelist Rick Gage and his GO TELL AMERICA team who conduct half a dozen evangelistic crusades in smaller communities each year.
4. Trustee Chair Randall Richardson called the development “cautiously optimistic,” emphasizing it’s only a possibility for now. The board is expected to reconvene by April 29.
