LEADERconnect is a two-year emphasis of the Alabama Baptist State Board of Missions. It was designed to help Alabama Baptist leaders connect with the person of God, the purpose of God and the people of God. The theme was presented and interpreted during the 2007 annual meeting of the Alabama Baptist State Convention in Mobile.
The 2008 LEADERconnect theme at the state convention in Montgomery focused on connecting with the people of God. Three sessions led by Joe McKeever, retiring director of missions for the Baptist Association of Greater New Orleans, and David Potts, president of Judson College, challenged Baptist messengers to carry out their connections with the person of God and the purpose of God by connecting with the people of God.
