Learning to Untie God’s Hands” is based on the premise that we limit the power of God in our lives by our own actions — unbelief, bitterness, pride and unforgiveness. The author, who is from Addison, outlines seven steps to untying the hands of God in our lives.
While the steps would make a really helpful magazine article, sermon or lesson, I found myself unsatisfied at the end of the book. A generation of readers raised on the teachings of Beth Moore expect more spiritual depth than the book offers, and I am not sure there is enough meat here to flesh out the seven steps. The book does have “good bones” though and with a little more work could become a valuable volume for the frustrated Christian.
