Liberty Grove Church, Nauvoo, anniversary

Liberty Grove Church, Nauvoo, will celebrate its 146th anniversary with homecoming Sept. 14 starting with morning worship at 10 a.m. Former pastors who will speak at the service include Murray Guthrie, Eddie Davis, Herschel Hudson and Todd Hunter. Vaughn Hendon will direct music. A covered-dish dinner follows. Singing in the afternoon will feature Howard Thompson, guest singer. Johnny Huey is pastor.
