Q: What led you to work with the homebound ministry?
A: I’ve always loved older people, and I’ve always had such admiration and respect for them. My heart just goes out to them when I see they are disabled and can’t get out and be involved in the community and church.

Q: Why have you continued this activity through the years?
A: I think I was addicted to it. It was just the friendships that developed with each and every one of them. It never was a chore … to do something for them.

Q: What does the ministry demand?
A: Time, caring and compassion.

Q: What do you get from the ministry?
A: Considering that I was supposed to be trying to bless other people by what I did, it always turned out that I got the bigger blessing from them sharing with me.

Q: How do you see yourself involved in this in the future?
A: I’d like to know that I could keep going, but I’ve already found out that I’ve got to slow down. I just trust the Lord to let me do what I can as long as I can.

Q: What difference will this ministry make for you in the future?
A: I think I see the fact that we don’t get too old to work and we don’t get too old to be useful. All of these people have blessed me so
