The great thing about so-called kids music these days is that so much of it is actually good. And 13-year-old tween scene prodigy Luke Benward is good. The son/grandson of CCM tag team Aaron Jeffrey, Luke Benward has starred in movies like “Because of Winn Dixie” and “How to Eat Fried Worms” and doesn’t appear to be slowing down; in 2006, The Hollywood Reporter named him “one of Hollywood’s top 12 kids to watch.” His record may be standard Disney Channel pop, but the arrangements are as catchy as those made for someone twice his age.
