We want to thank all of you who welcomed us so warmly into your churches this summer. All together, we were able to visit in 10 churches this time. It was good to be in so many healthy churches and to see how the Lord is at work among all of you.
Molly is teaching elementary art again this year. Kelly continues to work as academic dean at the Christian Leadership Training Center (CLTC). In addition, this year, he is coordinating the business affairs while another missionary is on stateside assignment. This year, CLTC started offering classes at a second site. Plans are now under way to develop a third training site in the next few months. Please pray that the Lord will guide us as we look at the facility, talk with prospective teachers and decide on the appropriate training program to develop at the new location.
The first week of September, our family began to meet with one other family for worship. Our hope is that this new small group will develop into a church that will be able to reach many people for the Lord in the Higashi Kurume area.
