NorthPark Baptist Church in Trussville, Birmingham Association, will host a single adult conference for Alabama Baptists and others March 11-12.
The event titled “Questions 4 Life” will feature Dave Edwards with musical guests George Gaston and the group, Straight from the Heart.
NorthPark is hosting this conference because “attending such an event can recharge single adults as they hear God’s Word and worship together,” said Rus Goodwin, NorthPark’s minister to adults.
Mobile native Gaston will serve as worship leader. Birmingham’s Straight from the Heart will perform two concerts during the weekend conference. This women’s foursome has been featured at conferences around that state since they formed in 1996.
Margie Duncan, congregational consultant for Birmingham Baptist Association and people group team leader, said singles conferences such as this are opportunities “to network with other Christian singles for a time of worship, praise and fellowship.”
