Mark Schultz is taking the world of Christian music by storm. Schultz’s music reflects not only his exuberance in living the Chris-tian life but also his great compassion for people. Schultz has the rare ability to capture a broad spectrum of human emotions through his songwriting.
With his debut album, Schultz is establishing himself as a singer/songwriter who seeks to relate to people as they face the many challenges that life offers. Having served as a minister in a local church. Schultz has encountered many of life’s greatest joys and hardships. Many of the songs on the album simply tell the stories of the people that Schultz has encountered through his ministry. “Let’s Go” is an inspiring anthem written following a conversation about the experiences of a mission trip. “He’s My Son” is a song based on one family’s battle with leukemia. Schultz wrote the song “I Saw the Light” based on a man he met in a Jamaican infirmary. The album concludes with a tender ballad entitled “Remember Me,” which features a duet with Ginny Owens.
