Mayberry Baptist in Montevallo closes, gives property to Shelby Association

Mayberry Baptist Church, Montevallo, officially closed Jan. 1. At a special service Jan. 8, Pastor Robert Lovelady and his wife, Joanne, received a plaque from Shelby Baptist Association’s mission strategist Ric Camp, commemorating the church’s 80 years of ministry.

The property and building were given to the association.
