McElwain Church, Birmingham, staff change

R. Joseph “Joby” Tricquet Jr. is the new pastor of McElwain Church, Birmingham. His first Sunday will be June 21. He comes from Fort Mitchell Church in Kentucky, where he served as pastor. Tricquet has also served churches in the Opelika area and in Indiana. He holds a bachelor’s degree in religion and history from Samford University in Birmingham; master of divinity from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas; and doctor of ministry from Beeson Divinity School at Samford. He and his wife, Cathy, have three children.
