Meadow Brook Church, Birmingham, new student minister

Ben Birdsong is the new student minister for Meadow Brook Church, Birmingham. He holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing and human resources from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and a master of divinity degree from Samford University’s Beeson Divinity School. He also will begin a doctorate of ministry program at Gordon Conwell Seminary’s Boston campus in January 2014. He previously served with students at First Church, Pelham. He is married to Liz.
