Alabama Baptist churches planning to send messengers to the 2000 Southern Baptist Convention June 13–14 in Orlando may request messenger cards from the Alabama Baptist Convention State Board of Missions.
The cards may be requested from Rick Lance, SBOM Executive Director, P.O. Box 11870, Montgomery, AL 36111-0870; phone 1-800-264-1225, ext. 242, or e-mail request to ryarbrough@alsbom.org and should include the following: (1) the name of the church, (2) the association to which the church belongs, (3) the name of the person requesting cards, (4) the number of cards requested, and (5) the address where the cards should be mailed.
Messengers must have been elected by their church, and their cards should be signed by the church’s moderator or clerk. Churches are allowed up to 10 messengers, based on membership and giving to the SBC. Cards should be completed before reaching the registration desk at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.
