Alabama Baptist churches planning to send messengers to the 2001 Southern Baptist Convention June 12-13 in New Orleans may request messenger cards from the Alabama Baptist Convention State Board of Missions (SBOM).
All requests should include the following: (1) the name of the church, (2) the association to which the church belongs, (3) the name of the person requesting the cards, (4) the number of cards requested and (5) the address where the cards should be mailed.
Messengers must have been elected by their church, and their cards should be signed by the church’s moderator or clerk. Churches are allowed up to 10 messengers, based on membership and giving to the SBC. Cards should be completed before reaching the registration desk at the Superdome in New Orleans.
