Messenger cards ready to be mailed

Churches may request messenger cards for the annual Alabama Baptist State Convention, which will meet Nov. 14-15 at the Montgomery Civic Center.

All requests should include; (1) the name of the person requesting the cards, (2) the name of the church, (3) the association to which the church belongs (or the church number), (4) how many cards are being requested and (5) the address to which the cards should be mailed.

Cards will include the name, association name, and amount of church contributions to the Cooperative Program last year. Cards must be completed and signed by the moderator or clerk. Messengers should take them to the registration desk after arriving at the convention meeting.

Messengers must be members of the church they represent and must have been elected by the church according to convention bylaws. Churches are allowed no more than 25 messengers. (ASBC)
