Millry Baptist Church celebrated its 100th anniversary Sept. 18 with former pastors James Harrison and Billy Kendrick serving as guest speakers. Pastor Randy Billingsley also spoke. Congregational music was led by worship leader Cindy Toomey and the praise team with special music by the senior adult and children’s choirs. Associational missionary Richie Davis spoke and led the closing prayer.
Gov. Kay Ivey and the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission issued certificates in honor of the anniversary.
“We celebrated God’s faithfulness — past, present and future,” Billingsley said. “Our future is bright because God is faithful.”
