ATLANTA — The board of directors of the Evangelical Fellowship of Mission Agencies (EFMA) announced April 19 that President and CEO Paul McKaughan will step down from his leadership responsibilities at the end of the year. McKaughan has served in the position for 14 years.
The EFMA is a voluntary association of more than 100 denominational and interdenominational missions agencies that send some 20,000 missionaries. It was established more than 60 years ago to increase the effectiveness of missions agencies and their leaders in world missions by providing a forum for the exchange of ideas and the building of skills and relationships. The organization said it has begun the process of selecting the next president and CEO.
