The Hindu mob in Titoli village in India’s Harayana state recorded one pastor being forced to set fire to a pile of Bibles.
The mob eventually grew to about 80 people who slapped, beat, kicked and punched the individuals from 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Masih said.
The four were also dragged to a car and locked inside for two hours, Masih recounted.
Police detained the Christians. Before a Christian attorney got to the police station, the four Christians were pressured to sign a statement that they would neither pursue charges against the assailants nor again enter the village, the attorney said.
Das and his family relocated to Bangalore, officially known as Bengaluru, in Karnataka state, said Morning Star.
