MORGAN ASSOCIATION
On Oct. 28, Morgan Baptist Association celebrated 100 years of ministry.
The celebration was held at First Baptist Church, Hartselle.
Evangelist Junior Hill was the guest speaker for the celebration. Special music was brought by Bellview Strings. A history of the association was presented by local historian Phil Wirey.
Lonette Berg presented a certificate on behalf of the Alabama Baptist Historical Commission.
The 27 charter member churches were presented with certificates at the celebration. Morgan Association disaster relief provided a meal. Ken Blackwood is director of missions for Morgan Association.
