Mount Hebron West Baptist Church, Elmore, on mission

Two members of Mount Hebron West Baptist Church, Elmore, in Elmore Baptist Association joined four members of Southside Baptist Church, Dothan, in Columbia Baptist Association on a missions trip to Guatemala in June.

The group, along with Baptist representatives from the International Mission Board (IMB) and with regional Kekchi missions workers, prayer walked to remote villages for three days. Upon arriving in a village, group members would meet the people and ask them for prayer requests. They also brought along teaching pictures to give to the churches in the areas.

The group also hosted a conference and prayer time for 14 Kekchi missions workers. A doctor was also on the trip to provide the Kekchi workers with a checkup, vitamins and medicines.
