H.L. “Lindy” Martin retired from his position as senior adult pastor of Mountain Brook Church, Birmingham. The church held a luncheon in his honor June 25 and a reception June 28. Martin previously served as pastor of several Alabama churches including Fayetteville Church, Sylacauga, and First Church, Chalkville. He and his wife, Sue Ellard, have six children and 12 grandchildren.
