Wayne Splawn is the new senior minister of Mountain Brook Baptist Church. Splawn has served on staff at the church since 2008, when he came to serve as student minister and then associate minister (2014). His wife, Mary, also serves on staff as the minister of connections.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of South Carolina-Upstate. The couple attended Beeson Divinity School where they each received master of divinity degrees. He also holds a doctor of ministry degree from Beeson. The Splawns have three children.
