NAMB commissions second-largest group

In the second-largest missionary commissioning in its history, the North American Mission Board commissioned 128 new Southern Baptist missionaries and chaplains.

During the Feb. 25 service at Hoffmantown Church, Albuquerque, N.M., which also was sponsored by Hoffmantown and the Baptist Convention of New Mexico, 116 missionaries and 12 Southern Baptist Convention-endorsed chaplains representing 66 ministry locations in 29 states and one Canadian province were presented.
