Jimmy Free is the new pastor of New Bethel Baptist Church, Minter, which meets on alternating Sundays with Braggs Christian Church, Minter, where Free has served as pastor for 16 years.
Free, who retired from a career with the fire department and the department of public health, will serve as pastor of both churches. He and his wife, Gayla, have three daughters and six grandchildren.
