Roy Cordle is the new pastor of New Haven Church, Anniston. He previously served as the church’s interim pastor. Cordle has been in the ministry for 41 years and has served several other churches in Alabama, Mississippi and Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree from William Carey College (now William Carey University) in Hattiesburg, Miss.; bachelor of ministry from Florida Baptist Theological College (now The Baptist College of Florida) in Graceville, Fla.; and master of ministry, doctor of ministry and doctor of theology from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Ga. Cordle and his wife, Joan, have one grown child.
