David F. Roberts is the new pastor of New Hopewell Church, Ashville. He has served as pastor of several churches in Alabama including Gladeview Church, Anniston. He also founded a counseling service named Morning Star Ministries. Roberts holds a doctor of pastoral ministry and a doctor of Christian counseling from Covington Theological Seminary in Rossville, Ga. He and his wife, Faye, have two children and three grandchildren.
