Following her debut album and countless contributions to other projects, Nicole C. Mullen is recognized today as one of contemporary Christian music’s most influential singers and songwriters. The idea of the album is captured in the song “Call on Jesus.” “I’m so very ordinary/Nothing special on my own/But when I call on Jesus/All things are possible.” The album concludes with “Heaven,” a simple song that calls to mind the day when we will stand face to face with the Father.
