ETOWAH ASSOCIATION
Noah Medders is the new pastor of East Gadsden Baptist Church.
He previously served as the church’s associate pastor and youth minister. Before that, he served on staff at three Baptist churches in Anniston — as youth pastor at Leatherwood, as children’s pastor at Goodyear Heights and as student minister at Riddles Bend.
Medders holds master’s degrees from Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and Covington Theological Seminary in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia.
He also serves as a chaplain with the Alabama Army National Guard.
He and his wife, Laynah, have two children.
