North Highland Baptist Church, Tuscumbia, held a dual-purpose celebration Aug. 18 — retirement of Pastor Paul Cummings and the church’s 50th anniversary. Cummings was recognized and honored during the morning service and he then formally recognized Daniel Dulaney, the incoming pastor for the Colbert-Lauderdale Baptist Association church.
