The women’s ministry of North Highlands Church, Hueytown, will host its 13th annual Tablescapes Brunch on Sept. 21. Doors open at 9:30 a.m. with brunch at 10 a.m. and program to follow. The theme for this year’s event, “Finish the Work,” is inspired by Colossians 4:17. All ladies ages 12 and up are invited to enjoy a morning of beautifully decorated tables, a brunch and an enlightening and inspiring message from speaker Tajuan McCarty, founder and executive director of the WellHouse, a nonprofit, Christ-centered organization dedicated to rescuing women from human trafficking and sexual exploitation. For ticket information call the church office at 205-491-7921. Seating is limited, and child care will be provided for ages birth through 4 years. Joe Kitchens is pastor.
