North Point Community Church, Alpharetta, Ga., has created an impressive collection of recorded music over the last few years, with the North Point Music label featuring their studio releases, North Point InsideOut showcasing their student ministry arm and North Point Live featuring live performances. This new project, “North Point Live: Here & Now” is the fourth installment of their acclaimed live music series.

If you’re a reader of my music reviews, you’ve figured out that I really like North Point Music. Skilled ensemble players and singers, a generous scattering of Dove and Grammy Award-winning writers, producers and performers and a God-filled energy that’s unmistakable add up to an amazing worship experience. 

“Here & Now” has the same hair-raising energy of their first live release three years ago, and that one debuted at No. 1 on iTunes Christian & Gospel Chart. 

I’m not going to bore you with descriptions of the songs; I’m simply going to say that, if you love contemporary Christian music, this is a record that you want.
