We want to express our appreciation for a recent trip to Asia by International Mission Board trustees. The trustee committee for the Western Pacific Region recently visited, at personal expense, missionaries serving in Japan, Korea and the Philippines. In mid-February it was our pleasure as Alabamians (Charlie is a University of Montevallo graduate and we are members of Shadowlawn Church in the Mobile Association) to have Alabama trustee Laurelle Stoudenmire visit in our home and learn about the work of our team. She participated in a prayerwalk with missionaries and Japanese believers in an area we are targeting for evangelism and church planting.
