Gov. Robert Bentley delivered a message on freedom in Christ at Ocmulgee Church, Selma, in July as part of the church’s patriotic event, which also honored the nation’s flag, veterans, retired and active duty servicemen and those who died defending freedom. A barbecue lunch prepared by Craig Pardue followed. Danny Sumerlin is pastor.
